FIERY T-BONE STEAKS a la MAROC

 
Description: Old-school French chefs used to slice flavored butters onto cooked steaks to infuse the meat with slow-melting flavor. AprèsVin Chardonnay Morocco Oil brings that succulent drizzle into the 21st century. Put some sizzle in your drizzle!

 

 

Ingredients:

Garlic, peeled and chopped
2 Tbsp
0.6 oz
2 large cloves
Lemon peel, white pith removed and finely chopped
1 Tbsp
0.2 oz
The peel of half of one small lemon
Onion, sweet white or purple, peeled and diced
¾ cup
4 oz
1 medium onion
AprèsVin Chardonnay Morocco Oil
2 Tbsp
0.6 oz
 
Salt
¼ tsp
0.025 oz
 
Pepper
¼ tsp
0.025 oz
 
T-bone steaks
 
5 lbs (80 oz)
4 steaks, each about 1 ¼ pounds and 1” thick)

 

Recipe:

1. In a small mixing bowl, combine the garlic, lemon peel, onion, AprèsVin Chardonnay Morocco Oil, salt and pepper and set aside for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to develop.
2. Preheat the grill to medium-high.
3. Grill the steaks over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes per side until medium-rare, for 7-10 minutes until medium or for 10-12 minutes per side until well-done.
4. Remove the steaks from the grill and place in a deep baking dish.
5. Drizzle half of the oil mixture over the steaks to coat them. Turn the steaks over and drizzle the remaining oil mixture over the second side. Serve immediately.
