T-BONE STEAKS WITH ROASTED GARLIC BEURRE BLANC

With this modern, heart-healthy twist on the classical French sauce, Beurre Blanc, you can play Cordon Bleu chef in your own kitchen. This sauce makes an elegant drizzle over any grilled meat.

2cupDry white wine
0,50cupWhite wine vinegar
3TbspShallot, peeled and finely diced
0,25tspSalt
2TbspApres Vin Roasted Garlic Chardonnay Oil
2T-Bone Steakss, each about 1¼ pounds and 1” thick)

Preparation

  1. Combine the wine, wine vinegar, shallots and salt in a small, deep saucepan.
  2. Preheat the grill to medium-high.
  3. While the grill is heating, make the Beurre Blanc: On the stovetop, heat the vinegar mixture to boiling, and reduce the liquid by ¾, which will take about 10 minutes.
  4. While the vinegar mixture is reducing, grill the steaks over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes per side until medium-rare, for 7-10 minutes until medium or for 10-12 minutes per side until well-done.
  5. Whisk the Apres Vin Roasted Garlic Chardonnay Oil into the reduced vinegar mixture and cook for 30 seconds.
  6. Remove the steaks from the grill and put on a serving platter.
  7. Pour the Beurre Blanc sauce over the steaks and serve immediately.

 

PREPARATION TIME: 15 minutes

COOKING TIME: 15-20 minutes

YIELD: 2 large steaks, serves 2 -4
